This feels like a position where taking some risk now will pay dividends later. The key is to tailor the risk in a Goldilocks manner.

16/11 pays off mostly to 33, but even then I count 18/36 return shots. If White chooses to hit with a 7, I see 27/36 return hits from the bar. This seems like optimal risk/reward.
