Only three legal 6's after entering and 13/7 seems to offer White a smorgasbord of blots. Leaping into the outfield allows White to make the 5-prime with 18/36 rolls (4's of all kinds except 11, then 65 and 52). 14/36 more rolls hit on the 15-pt (3's of all kinds except 11 and the already counted 31; add 55 and 64}. All that remains are {11,66,51}.

6/2* gets return hit with 12/36 rolls, still makes the 5-prime with {14,44,54} = 4/36 rolls. 4/36 rolls fan. The remainder are {31,51,61,43,53,64,55,65} = 16 rolls.

Comparing rolls that neither hit nor complete the 5-prime, 6/2* leads by 16/36. There is some downside having a 4th checker sent back, but worth it, IMO.
