Looks like you need to leave either two or zero on the 22-pt. After 9/3(2) it's between 22/16(2) and 14/2*. The hitting play is great when it works, but may be overkill. I'll quote Robertie again (paraphrased): If you own the cube you don't need to win the game on one play.
