I'm going to have an anchor either way, but of course the 21-pt is better, other things being equal (which they are not).

White's position is somewhat stripped and blotty. That makes her cleaning things up less than a gimme no matter how Blue plays this roll. However, if the blot(s) Blue is shooting at next turn aren't within range of the 24-pt then Blue likely will have to give up the freshly made 21-pt in order to carry that out.

I gladly accept the 4/36 White fans. If I'm wrong my punishment will be buying Schiemann's second book, which doesn't sound like punishment anyway.
