Making the two best remaining homeboard points speaks for itself, but...

White is not going to be leaving blots for a while. Although Blue having that lonely checker on the 18-pt isn't much of an immediate risk, it could become one soon.

Add to that the extra contact the 18-pt brings when White has her midpoint, AND the four timing pip improvement 20/18(2) accomplishes.

OK, since I've decided on 20/18(2) there's the less important part -- 4-pt or 5-pt. Again, since shots aren't imminent the value of five out of six made points is lessened. 5(2) feels like a longer term asset and noting that all six of Blue's single dice will play comfortably next turn after making the 5-pt cements my conclusion:

18(2), 5(2).
