I don't see the 9-pt lasting long here. The downside (if it's much of one) to blotting twice in the HB is White's rolls that allow her to clear her 18-pt. I'm far from sure those even exist as correct plays, though.

So which HB points to start? Although the 5-pt is more valuable, it appears starting it here with 8/2 is more inflexible than the alternative (starting 2- and 3-pts). With a close race, it doesn't require purity to win after a hit. I'm going with the more flexible looking...
