Lots of plays to consider. I could go all 'encyclopedia' (as Stick likes to say). OK, I can't help myself sometimes.
24/20, 13/9(3) -- Makes two good points but leaves a blot on the midpoint and the back anchor stranded.
24/16, 20/16, 13/9 -- Gets a move on which makes sense with such a big race lead. However, this looks difficult to bring home and puts no pressure on White.
24/16, 13/9(2) -- Another "let's get a move on" type play which isn't all that risky and seems more flexible than making the 16-pt.
6/2*(2), 7/3(2) -- Probably the Gammon Go play? This would make more sense if White didn't have an anchor.
13/9(2), 6/2*(2) -- Adds two points, but even though the builders on the 6-pt are too far forward (with White camped on Blue's 4-pt), it would be better to use them for the 3-pt.
13/5(2) -- Thinking more than one spare on the 6-pt is going to the 5-pt is too optimistic, IMO. Waiting for one of them to get there could be the package that never arrives. I definitely want the 5-pt and here it is, not necessarily on the platter I had hoped.
Hopefully in the least I've listed the best play. I might well have also listed a Whopper but don't think I'm choosing one.... (famous last words?)
13/5(2).
