Very impressive (and obviously quite a bit of work involved). Thanks.

It appears by my eyeball scan that there was a sweetspot in the 2000-2003 span where the big tournaments in both Europe and US peaked in open attendance.

One thing that isn't reflected in your list (and I'm not volunteering :) is TOTAL attendance in main events (so including Advanced, Intermediate, Novice, or equivalent). I think the US directors use this more as a metric. My recollection is that the Nordic Open's total field doesn't track its open (championship) attendance, for example.
