I reason that gnubg is still a work in progress, there are a couple of critcal features that needs to be fixed before it can be released as a proper 1.0 version.

Before that time I don't expect that there are too many people who are interested in fixing full platform support for gnu, particularly vista which as far as I know have a reputation of being a poor windows upgrade. Many businesses doesn't upgrade their windows platforms quickly because they know some of their applications will stop working.

I know that gnu works fine on a windows 2002 release, I'd install this on my gnu computers or buy a virtualization software like vmware and install 2002 and gnu on that instead of trying to fix gnu on vista.
