Extra-terrestrials?

I can sum up my feelings on your post as this:
(first, keep in mind that '>' means "greater than", '>>' means "much greater than" and now I've defined a recursion relation)
Likelihood that a human currently plays (or has in the past played) backgammon consistently (without aid) at a level of Snowie ET or better >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> likelihood that any terrestrial creature has ever seen sufficient evidence for extraterrestrial intelligence.
Keep in mind what I just said is consistent with "likelihood that a human currently plays (or has in the past played) backgammon consistently (without aid) at a level of Snowie ET or better < 10**-12".
And lest you misinterpret the above, I didn't say "likelihood that ETI exists...."
For those who would like to delve into the topic further, a couple old but still accurate books are Other Worlds by Carl Sagan, a very (30 minute?) quick read, and UFO's, a Scientific Debate edited by Carl Sagan and Thornton Page.
I'm sure there are books which have replaced the second listed above. Unfortunately we've yet to find anyone to replace Sagan....
