So ... the movie is fiction based on a book which was also loose with the facts. A representative quote: "In the movie 21, Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) impresses professor Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) by coming up with the idea of using strippers to cash out their MGM Grand chips. In the book, Micky is the one who comes up with the idea. In reality, it never happened at all."
