Well let's get the easy stuff out of the way... =)

I think(?) this is the first tournament of Elayne's I have ever attended, I could be wrong, I don't pay much attn to who is directing what. I know it's the first time I've been to Fl. I will admit to being mildly irritated about starting times/etc. and I wasn't playing in anything important because I kept losing so swiftly.

Sunday was the worst for me. I believe the last chance was supposed to start at 11am. The draw wasn't done until at least 11:30. Once it was posted and whatever started I went up and told them my opponent wasn't around, I remember specifically it was 11:49 because I was told if he's not there by noon, he'd forfeit. Come noon and guess what? If he's not there by 12:15 he'll be forfeited. I believe they ended up officially forfeited him at 12:10.

I don't get much sleep during these tourneys because my sleep schedule is so fucked to begin with that if I was in the finals and moved it from A to B (late to early) or B to A (early to late) I'd be really pissed too, esp. if I wasn't told until the day of!? If I get my happy ass out of bed and am told I won't be playing for another X hours or if I get a phone call or late night notice it'd be hours earlier the next day...I wouldn't be happy.

Sometimes I wonder what it would take by way of ppl refusing to attend tournaments to get clock usage going. That is my idea for 2009.
