In Response To: Historic BG Quiz problem 1 (Chuck Bower)

13/11, 6/5. I want to cut down on his immediate shots at me, especially since they could win him a gammon. He now has 15, and this cuts it down to 12. If I go all the way to the 10 point, I cut it to 11, but I think the benefit of slotting the 5 point with the checker I want to slot it with, a spare from the 6, is sufficient to justify one extra shot. I really need the 5 point, as I will have a very hard time winning without it.
