When watching I had a tiny pref for the close out, noting that I've looked at this before and that Richard's stripped 5 pt that can become 2 more blots matters a bit in some variations where he gets three men hit and enters quickly on the ace pt. But as a good rule of thumb, just close the opp out and be happy to be able to pig up the bear off.
