Flying with backgammon boards

I ALWAYS carry it on; you don't want the handlers throwing your board around with aplomb. I usually put it up in the overhead if there is room; any 'standard' size airplane will take a regular board. (Those 40-50-seater commuter jets will not; you'd have to put it under the seat.)

If you have to put it under your seat, just do so carefully and take off your shoes. No big problem.
