Keep the drumbeat going, guys. Bob is not a slow player, but he will take the time to do the math (because he can!) when he has the available time. So I agree with Bill Riles' assessment- Bob is doing this for the betterment of the game, not to get an advantage for himself. Kudos to Bob for that.

But, until Clocks are allowed by either player's request, you will probably get a majority preferring not to use it.

Ed O'Laughlin used a clock, voluntarily, in a local match in Virginia last month. Ed is legendary in the world of BG, but not for "lightning-fast play". If Ed is comfortable with a clock, shame on anyone at the Open level who refuses it.
