As a TD in Madison, I was very happy to see Bob offering to use a clock. I took Chuck Bower's "standard equipment" advice from this forum and purchased a clock this spring.

I would recommend that everyone that intends to offer clocks in a tournament check in with a TD to make sure they are using the correct time control. We posted that we were following the official time rules ahead of time, but I am not sure that everyone is.

As long as I am posting, I want to thank all of the BGO'ers for helping make the WSBC run so smoothly. It was my first year behind the plate and I'll be the first to admit it is not as easy as many TDs make it look. UBK provided an excellent base to codifying the transition from Swiss to playoffs. We have some work to do, but it was a lot easier this year. Thanks to the Kaz and many others for helping me understand the nuances of equity in the playoffs and in the 24-player masters event. Hope to see all of you again next year.
