ABT points

I don't think the ABT is meant to be an indication of the relative strengths of the players. It's just a competition to see who did best in the tournaments that year. "Doing best" is subjective. (For example, in the Olympics, is the best country the one that wins the most gold medals, or the one that wins the most total medals?)

If you want to know the relative strengths of the players based on their performance, you need a ratings system that takes into account all the matches and players.
