ABT points

You did get diced badly in the Pittsburgh final, though you and Jon both played at 3.1 on Snowie evaluation. Point being, Jon got all the dice -- but he played them well also.
I'm sure you've won your share on disproportionate dice -- luck is part of the game, and over a long match, or a long year of tournaments, it will tend to even out.
I don't think you can ever perfectly refine a performance rating system for the ABT which satisfies everyone and reflects overall performance throughout the year. However, if someone cashes multiple times the odds are greatly in his/her favor that they'll end up at or near the top. Look at Gary Bauer last year with his Consolation final run or Pat Gibson's finish -- sure, he won Michigan but I think a number of his points were from Advanced/Intermediate finishes.
It's not perfect, but it's not terrible, either.
