2008 Illinois State Championships

Me too, so I can fall asleep before he does, in case he snores!

A related concept, since I like ABT events and travel to a LOT of them....

They are run on a shoestring budget and get perks, according to how many "room-nights", they produce.

If WE stay in one room one night that is ONE room night. If we have separate rooms on the same night that is two.

Almost always I could save enough money to make the rental car free by doing a vacation package and booking my room together with airfare. I can book close to the host venue, but not in the same place. I like to take naps after dinner and stuff so being on site is better... but that is a matter of taste/style. MOSTLY, I book the host hotel to help out the directors. If they make ends meet, then I may have that place to showcase my particular talents next year also....

Just something to consider.
