Mary may scold me for being too imaginative, but... some candidates:

1) 11/6, 18/15. Leaves only two blots, but pretty far back. And the spare on the 11-point might be an asset.

2) 18/13, 18/15. If you're gonna make a run for it, MAKE A RUN FOR IT. Also, it looks better to get hit higher in the outfield although it may lead to fewer return shots so that aspect alone is not clearcut to me. Now you have three checkers to make a lower outfield point, or even the 11-point (which I'd rather not do because of the difficulty of clearing it).

I would bring both checkers off the 18-point, but I'll let my partner Mary make the final decision.
