In one of the 3 point matches at WSOB, I was a little short on time starting a game and kept a running difference from the very first roll.

Also in my practice sessions leading up to Europe I would play gnu without the pipcounter. I was good already but it still helped. For those who are slow at it a little practice could go a long way. But I suspect some have never practiced it other than in actual games.
