Kit says he can get an estimate of pipcount difference, accurate to a couple pips, within a very short time (a few seconds). This would be a very good skill to have, especially because pipcount difference can be a significant factor in play decisions.

You can do this in a few seconds using Zare's Half-Crossover Pipcount. It will not be the exact difference but very often that is not needed.
