What is this compulsion with absolute count? I rarely use it. Only if you are considering a really close race cube decision do you need this information imo.

This pos is pretty symetrical, so my "mental adjustement" technique gives me the count in a couple of secs.

For instance, you move your 21 point anchor back 2 and 1 for - 3 pips. You move 1 checker from 6 point to 10 point, for another -4 pips.

Then you put your last two spares on the 6 to the 1 point for +10 pips.

Now you have made two symetrical positions.

-3 -4 + 10 = +3 pips.

You are 3 pips behind.
