Studying matches with GNU..my settings

If I studied matches as I should more seriously I would use GNU for a few reasons. The largest as you mentioned is CPAtS. Another reason is a more precise MET. Another reason is the speed saved when analyzing GNU v. Snowie. Another reason is if you're rolling out any decisions GNU will also be faster.
I always use 2 ply to analyze my stuff. I'm not convinced of 3 ply being better than 2 ply (as it should be) and I haven't studied 2 ply v. 3 ply so I don't bother. Also, if I'm actually studying a match, I will roll out anything that I'm interested in that is that close, so why waste the time with 3 ply?
I drop my doubtful move down to -.02 because again, anything that is that close and I feel there may be a clear difference in plays I will want to roll out. After that I don't care what the other settings are, I'm going to look at the plays regardless if they're in red or green or rainbow.
Hopefully I'll touch on some minor studies in the near future on 2 ply v. 3 ply, checker or cube.
