Neil replies: Bcuz it's better than Snowie 3, notably for backgame type stuff. If I recall at the time Snowie 4 came out, it was better than the older version of GNU as well. Unfortunately the Snowie Group has not managed to come out with the patch wanted by tourney players and that is one with full lookahead and checker play rollouts according to match score. The ability to input and use what ever MET desired would also be nice as would fixing up shorter race cubes so that Snowie realises there's less cube vig and doesn't take passes and miss clear doubles.
