In Response To: Installing GNU-bg on UBUNTU (Chuck Bower)

...to both of you for your help. However, looks like I need to be on the network. Even LINUX distros expect you to be (fast) network connected these days. E.g. I don't even have g++ (compiler, linker, etc. for you non-LINUXers) because my UBUNTU install figured after it got the basics up I could just go online and get all the goodies.

(That will happen, just not instantly.)
