I hit 4/3*. Besides the standard "back from the edge" arguments, note that rolls with sixes not only escape but pretty much catch White up in the race. White does have a bit of inefficiency but that should be fairly well fixed by the time the bearoff begins (most of the time, IMO).

What's weird about this position is "what was the other half of the roll?" Blue had two on the 12-point, one on the 6-point, and rolled 6-1? One on the 10-pt, two on the 7-pt, and rolled 3-1? One on the 11-point, two on the 8-point, and rolled 3-1? Anything else possible?
