Politics in Backgammon

Firefighters at my Department are forbidden by the rules and regulations to discuss politics or religion. People just can't agree on those subjects. It's refreshing to note that Backgammon players have much better clarity (?) than firemen.

Vote for who you want, that is pretty simple. I might vote for the same guy, but I am not going to pretend to know a whole lot about the issues. Seems to me there is too much pressure from special interest groups for any one guy to act with complete autonomy. We are just picking the most flexible puppet.

We might do just as well picking based on looks or race or military record.
