Politics in Backgammon

Let me assure you and Mr. Berger (whereever he may originate) that I am not kidding and that, in my learned opinion, the European support for BarryO probably hurts him more than helps him.
We in the States do not care for your socialist societies and we do not have any respect for your opinion of our politics. Socialism, spinelessness, and appeasement are counter to all American traditions and values.
The fact that your societies are considerably more homogeneous than ours partially explains your naivete; however, we who daily live the difficulties of a non-homogeneous society have a much more different perspective.
Should you wish to even investigate/explore this week's headlines you will soon find that two of BarryO's most senior financial advisors are the two most recent CEOs of Fannie Mae. You would also discover that BarryO, despite only being in the Senate for the last THREE years, has received more Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lobbying moneys in the last TWENTY years than all but ONE other legislator.
The principal factor of BarryO's domestic financial program is income redistribution -- socialism/marxism by any definition. I cannot, and will never, support such a program. Those able-bodied citizens who will not be responsible for themselves and their own may die in the street as far as I'm concerned. A free education is available to all in the States. Anyone who wishes a job or wishes to begin a business is free and able to do so. Those who do not take advantage of opportunities are not my problem, and I do not feel I should be responsible for their support.
In my opinion, BarryO is the quintessential example of the dangers of affirmative action. Were he other than black, his mere candidacy would be immediately dismissed and he would be a laughingstock. He is but a well-spoken puppet of global, leftist interests. Were you to witness him attempt to speak extemporaneously, despite your bias, I think you would be forced to agree.
Unfortunately, close to 50% of those filing US federal tax returns pay no taxes. When that number, or that number plus the naive productive citizens, exceeds 50% percent, we are doomed. Perhaps the election of McCain/Palin, like the election of George W. Bush, will delay that eventuality beyond my lifetime. I pity those that live longer.
