Politics in Backgammon

I would like to point out that Bill’s views are his own and are not shared by all Americans. He does seem to be a wee bit xenophobic.
On a personal note, I enjoy talking to people from different countries and backgrounds and finding out their views. Backgammon people come from many countries and have diverse backgrounds and are often interesting to talk to. At a BG tournament in Berkeley last week, I played an Iranian in my first round, a South African in the second, a straight white American male BG book author in the third, and a gay San Francisco man in the finals. I consider all four to be backgammon friends and enjoy talking with them.
