"a wee bit xenophobic" -- perhaps you'd care to explain the origin of your feelings

I have not a problem in the world with anyone from anywhere -- providing they follow certain standards of civility, decency, and respect.

Domestically in the States my principal objections are with any illegal presence in the States and with the entitlement mentality of all too many. If you're here legally, support yourself and your own, pay your taxes, observe the law, and are civil and decent, I likely have no problem with you.

Internationally, again, as long as people and states conform to civil, decent, respectful conduct, I likely have no problem with them. When they start spouting off about our country, our election, etc. we may run into difficulties. We, as any country, should have our own interests as our foremost concern. If you threaten or interfere with those interests I take exception.

If you would like to address specific examples for further discussion and/or explanation, please do so.
