Clock cautions.

Do you know about the intensity control -- small wheel sticking out the side of the clock?

I ask because I was having trouble with my display for, oh, about a year. I changed batteries, etc. It seemed intermittant. Well, it was intermittant, because I was frequently but unknowingly bumping the intensity control wheel. Since I figured it out the clock has worked just fine.
