The commercial manufactured systems shouldn't be too far behind in $ and there is some assurance/insurance/etc. from that route, I believe.

If you buy the parts individually, they will generally come with a warranty (usually 3 years or something), but you will need to RMA them and return them to the manufacturer individually, of course.
