beyond the limits of the question of whether or not we need this bailout. the question that we need be asking is --- "do we need this much of this kind of government?" my answer is no. our "representatives" have been doing nothing but representing themselves and the special interests that have been soooo lining their pockets for far too long. our country is broken, and this bills passage will do nothing to fix it.

an uniformed electorate is largely to blame. giving everyone the right to vote seems very right, but is it really? is it wrong to deny someone with in IQ of say 60 to vote. i think not. since, if they voted, they'd be voting for whomever they are close to told them to vote for. the time has come to put real decisions in the hands of those that can truly represent their constituencies best interests (even if unpopular).
