the question is

Mr. Murphy --
You again assume the role of the pot calling the kettle black. You misread and misinterpret that with which you disagree -- preferring your liberal, counter-cultural spin.
I used the term 'our', in an inclusive sense, in reference to country, culture, traditions, and way of life.
You chose the term 'your', in an exclusive sense, in reference to country, culture, traditions, values, and way of life.
I know you are offended by those with traditional values and standards not conforming with the 'values' you choose to live by -- however, I think it is wrong for a minority to expect the majority to accept and/or conform to minority values.
You wish to continue to contort our country into something it has never been and was never meant to be. I wish our country to remain the great country it was.
I am libertarian enough to let anyone live the life they choose, so long as they don't try to force any of their views on others, harm others, or adversely influence our youth, as examples. Thus, you are free to smoke your dope, drink yourself into oblivion, have sex with anyone you wish -- male and/or female, dump your wife, estrange/forsake your kids, read/write what you want, practice any religion or philosophy you wish, let the government subsidize your lifestyle, etc., (please apply as appropriate). However, don't expect others to do the same, don't judge others who don't choose to do so, and don't demand others respect.
Unfortunately, too many of my fellow citizens, and so many others living in the States legally and illegally, wish to enjoy the fruits of our land while not contributing to the society and, indeed, while converting the land and the culture to something more attune to the countries they've fled -- often third world developing countries. I wish not to support them in their efforts -- financially or otherwise. If they so love the cultures of their homelands, then their homelands are the places they should be. This is the States -- we speak English, we have a Judeo-Christian based culture, we are a country of laws, we are self-sufficient and personally responsible, we are a compassionate and generous people and country. At least, these are many of the things we were -- and, despite assaults at every front, these are many of the things I hope we continue to be.
If one wishes to come to America and be an American -- wishing to be free, productive, prosperous, with unlimited potential, etc. -- then please do so. But check your baggage at the border. If one wishes to come here to only enjoy the bounty of the country without assimilation and without contribution then, please, stay away. The same is also applicable to many already here -- native-born and immigrant alike. If you wish to participate in our society -- taking advantage of the opportunities of education and advancement available to all yet also accepting the responsibilities of citizenship -- I wish you only the best. If your motives are more selfish, I have only disdain for you.
Regarding the upcoming election, I am far from enamored with either candidate. However, I have absolutely no doubt of the allegiances and love of country of Mr. McCain. He, and his family, have provided long decades of service to our country. I cannot be so certain of Mr. Obama -- he is, by design, and indisputably, an unknown. I detest his political and economic philosophies. I regard his foreign policy as one of weakness, pacifism, and appeasement. I am not certain if this is naivete or questionable allegiances/motivations. His heritage and history -- in writings, record, and associations -- make me further suspect of his motives and allegiances. Personally, I think he is, in the least, an inexperienced empty-suit and, at most, far more sinister and dangerous. As somewhat of an aside, he is also a product of a program I absolutely detest, affirmative action. Consequently, in my mind, any accomplishments he may have will always be questionable.
In backgammon, I am more than willing to roll the dice and take my chances. In the serious, real world of politics I think it far less than prudent to do so.
