In Response To: the question is (Daniel Murphy)

Mr. Murphy --

Your insistence on repeatedly insulting me and misrepresenting my positions and statements is much more a reflection of who you are, rather than a definition of who I am. I'll not wade further into the morass of your rancor.

I have my suspicions, some confirmed, of the origins of your bitterness, meanness, and hatred. Though some were personal choices, I do sympathize with the dysfunctions in your life that have brought you to this point.

I am confident you know affirmative action is manifested in many ways -- including race, gender, ethnicity, and national origin among others. I object to the practice categorically, on principle. However, you prefer to accuse me of racism; in much the manner as anyone doubting BarryO is treated by liberals and, unimaginably, by BarryO's own campaign. Trust me, I will not be intimidated by your politically correct nonsense, or that of anyone else. There is much more racial division and content introduced to the political arena by the left than by the right -- all by design.

Get a reference on me from anyone in the backgammon community that knows me personally -- as I've asked on you from the few knowing you, certainly among the current ABT circuit. I know you won't, you couldn't handle the results.

With the exception of you, I and everyone with whom I engage in animated discussions, on this forum and elsewhere, on-line and in person, ultimately exchange respectful discourse. Some are friends initially, and remain so. Some I don't know, and would like to. David Montgomery, who I've never met, and I, from my perspective, have buried the hatchet and have each shown the other simple, common respect. Again, you are the exception.

Should we ever have the misfortune to meet, I'll be more than happy, in fact I'll take pleasure, in explaining any number of things to you. Till then,

Best wishes.
