Specifically, what if the rules were changed so that doubles would only give you two moves instead of four?

While we're at it, let's remove 5s and 10s from poker decks since straights are "luckier" than pairs.

While BG is a game of skill, inherently it is a game played with a random component. You will have variance. Some of your streaks will be longer than others, but overall, a 2.0 player will beat a 6.0 player in the long run.
