The use of clocks has nothing to do with the rules of the game.

The customary and standard time settings utilized in the ABT and in Europe are extremely fair and place little burden on most players. I rarely use half my allotted time in a match. The clocks are only meant to speed up the ridiculously slow players.

It's always the same people. Several people got a laugh out of my comment in Denver that a certain player should have a clock put on him as he deplanes upon arrival.
