not change tho rules of backgammon.. backgammon continues as its merits.. a new game produce and named like newgammon :) no matter.. install this new game some playing online areas like TMG play65 netgammon.. ppls play play and accustom it ..

of course there are huge knowledge, bots books about these rules so any change, would change everything .. but since the new game like nackgammon, ppl who want to play it play and i believe it will be more popular in 3-4 years than backgammon for skillful players than gamblers .. since less luck and more skill.. just a suggest to developers of play sites and bot developers.. play doubles 2 times except 4..

you are leading a game, you count pips and think is it dbl now or not, too anxiety, breathe hardly than dbl, he rolls a 6-6 or 5-5 you hate the game.. or bear off or opening roll doubles.. dice control the game not you.. means play rulet..
