Some possibly relevant data:
The table below shows win percentages for various match lengths for the 20 players currently at the top of the DBgF rating system. Non-Danish players and BGO or GU readers will recognize the names in boldface. Matches are all rated matches since January 1, 1999. It seems likely that in the majority of these matches, the named players were higher rated than their opponents -- by how much, however, is unclear.

- most 5 point matches were in regional/national last chance flights; some may have been in cafe tournaments.
- most 7 point matches were in cafe tournaments.
- most 9 point matches were in regional/national modified Swiss main flights or knockout main or consolation flights.
- most 11 point matches were in regional/national modified Swiss main flights or knockout main flights.
- almost all 17 point matches were in (somewhat) rating-stratified Danish Team Tournament competition.
And so I'd guess that these players' rating advantage over their opponents would tend to be greater in the shorter matches, e.g., especially, comparing 7 pointers to 17 pointers.
A more precise statistical analysis would have to look at ratings at the time that each match was played. That data is available. Similarly, an analysis of a much larger database of results with regard to ratings, such as for matches played at a popular online server like GamesGrid RIP, might be revealing.
