Hm, now I read your mail and understand it :-) but 5 pointers are really short. Can you make your calculations for 7 pointers?

Best-of-three 7s is about equivalent to a 15-point match (61%). At least that's what I recall getting.

Maybe something is wrong with initial idea. How ELO points are based? Upon money games sessions or match play? Longer or shorter matches? Mixture of all of them? Nobody know?

I am not really clear on how ELO is determined in practice for BG and how the JT tables were generated. I did read JT's book at one point but I have forgotten quite a bit of it. I do understand ELO very well in chess, and it works perfectly well in chess.
