Neil, a nice neat format that is easy to manage and easy for players to understand I like it.
Some questions and comments:
Start time Saturday?
How long are you scheduling per 11 pointer? (Main Rounds 1 to QF inclusive)
How long are you scheduling per 9 pointer? (Conso Round 1 SF inclusive)
I am presuming Conso Final is an 11 pointer please confirm / correctly inform me.
How long are you scheduling per 5 pointer? (All Last Chance)
How long are you scheduling per 13 pointers? (Main Semi-Final)
How long are you scheduling per 15 pointer? (Main Final)
I consider that the Consolation and Last Chance should be timed that players are knocked out at or just after The Main Final is scheduled. There is something sad and sorry about a Final being a match between the two last left players while all other players have left the premises and the T.D. is hence tempted to pack up his/her gear, has done so when the final match score is 10-9 and is thus stamping his/her feet waiting around to take the winners picture. Hence timings should be scheduled to encourage knocked out players to stay and watch the final because its just started / in now in progress.
In Round 2/3 of the Conso would you A) pair the 1st Round Main Losers together and the 2nd Round Main Losers together hence making for a Round 2 and a Round 3 or B) mix them all up so that 1st & 2nd Round Main Losers play each other hence making for a staggered Round 2? I presume A) but would like this clarified.
Same question applies to following rounds of Conso.
Do you propose a random draw of players in the Last Chance or are players slotted in in accordance to their results?
If byes in the Last Chance how do you deal with those?
I personally disagree that those that lose on the Sunday morning in the Conso Semi-Finals should be guaranteed a seat in the Last Chance because this, to my mind, robs lesser players of a decent chance of winning the Last Chance. Though I do conceed that not guaranteeing Conso Semi-Final losers a seatr in the Last Chance robs them of a stab at the Prize Fund. Rather I prefer to start the Last Chance 1st Round matches all together and allow the first players to lose a chance of a re-buy which increases the Prize Fund of the Last Chance if the tournament was a less than full 64 players. But this does not seem to be the way / fashion in the US so this is no real importance to this exercise.
Of the Prize Fund you propose a 7 way payout. What percentages / method do you propose?
