Why Are TD's So Resistant?

TD's aren't clocking all matches for several reasons. They don't own the supply of clocks to do so. There is the money involved and the hassle of transporting them and setting all of them. It takes several minutes per clock to insert the 'presets' for the length of matches you expect to play. Also, note that if you take the batteries out, you have to enter all the presets again from scratch. This is more work.

Also, despite the fact that almost all comments on this and other boards support use of clocks, this still is probably 10 vocal people out of all the BG players. Many players do NOT like using clocks and consider them a 'punishment' when one is added to their match. TD's ARE afraid of losing attendence if clocks are required.

Just some thoughts.
