This is one area about clocks that hasn't been discussed on this board. If clocks are in use, my opponent better keep his piehole shut while my clock is ticking. Including humming.

If there are no clocks, and you interrupt me while I'm taking a pipcount or calculating double/take/pass points, I can just start over. If my clock is ticking and you do this, then we have a problem.

Has anyone else thought about this and the social ramifications for clocks?

I'm still in favor of clocks. I'm as sick and tired of the four to six hour waits between matches on Saturday as anyone else.
