Bill makes a couple of good points. How COULD Larry not have been able to move in the bearoff within 12 seconds?

It IS chicken shit if someone doesn't resign if they are beaten, trying to win on a clock violation

Larry did, (he had to have), fuck up by overthinking somewhere in that match. BUT he will be able to pick up the dice, shake and roll them legally, read them, make a play, and hit the clock a smaller percentage of the time within 12 seconds than you or I will, Bill.

I dunno what mental lapses due to age caused or didn't cause, but I know I can beat Larry 100% of the time in the 100 yard dash. Stick could probably kick my ass pretty consistently there too... But backgammon levels the playing field and I can beat Stick and Larry can beat me.

How fucking pathetic is it to win on time when there are 3 checkers left in the bearoff? You obviously want that to KEEP happening to avoid the dreaded old people get more time rule?

Assuming you are not a guy who wouldn't concede, why are you a guy who can't see a need to compensate a little?
