Perhaps I need to clarify. I do NOT encourage or condone taking pictures during someone else's match. I like the suggestion of leaving the area and either jotting down the position or setting up a board to photograph it.

Just in case you see someone taking pictures of positions in a match they aren't playing, don't worry about it. I understand Bill Davis will sometimes take pictures for use in his ChicagoPoint newsletter.

Again, you really want to be a Fly on the Wall.
