I am not for or against clocks. I have pros and cons on this subject. My question is why start in the championship division? Why not include advanced/intermediates?

I don't feel this is necessary. For one the intermediate match lengths are shorter. Second, more importantly IMHO, clocking intermediate is overkill. I would not say that I am against it but I don't think it is particularly necessary.

While youre at it, why not introduce clocks at the club level. This is where players can learn to use them and have experience. When they play an ABT there should not be any problems with having to learn.

I think this would be great.
