Back to Clocks

Okay, First of all, Bill CJC and Pat already been here and done this.
Linda Clay hasn't got any experience, Larry is obtuse and Fred is spoiled and he doesn't play backgammon anymore.
The backgammon suite, is down the hall from the elevators on the 64th floor. Howard always gets that room. How can you have a discussion about clocks and not include Howard???? Of course, Howard probably was on the original clock committee.
The original group that set the current standards for clock use will be offended that everyone wants to alter them without a sufficient trial. The ONLY matter to be addressed should be "clocks mandatory" or not, and how best to implement that.
I don't think Norm wants a clock, I am sure Larry doesn't, and I just prefer not to play with one, but I will.
Stick and Ballard would like to be on this committee I am sure. Seems like the thread hers is, many players want clocks to become mandatory in order to expedite the process and eliminate interminable tournament delays.
I think we should circulate a petition, with signatures, respectfully to Bill Davis and those responsible for the current clock guidelines. Call it an amendment to the Backgammon Constitution if you will.
Then everyone has a voice and not just Neil, Linda, Larry and Norm.
