Sure, 6's are good for White, but what about the other 25 rolls? There are some gammons lurking but I don't think as many as first meets the (well, my) eye.

This score does give extra value to doubled gammons. I still don't think it's enough due to White's clear awkwardness. Move the spare on the 2-point back and it becomes considerably stronger, IMO.
